I remember when I would come home you would flop down onto the floor and meow like a chicken til I would rub your belly. I remember feeding you olives and cheese. I remember carrying you around like a human baby and you would purr like a motherfucker. I remember you followed me so closely underfoot that I always stepped on you and tripped over you. I remember you always trying to sleep on my head at night and I would throw you off the bed many times til I finally gave up and you slept curled around the top of my head on my pillow like a furry black hat.
