PICA'S TBA 2011 Line Up!

OMG every year I get dizzy with excitement at the mere mention of PICA's Time Based Art Festival. Like, kid in a candy shop excited. Although I am never able to see each and every performance, show, or exhibit I put on my list, this year I am determined to come closer to achieving that goal. For 2011, the theme is "Evidence of Bricks: The building up, but mostly tearing down, of institutions, societies, structures, and ideas." Sounds good to me, dudes.

"PICA gets sexual tonight with Destricted, a series of short films by artists like Matthew Barney and Richard Prince that have up til now been banned from US theaters for sexually explicit content that pushes the line between art and commercial pornography. Art won."
